Assistant Head of School

Hello Everyone,  I am honored to be the first to serve as the Assistant Head of School at Charlotte Preparatory. I look forward to working with Mrs. Fear and the rest of our staff to continue to provide our students with a challenging, well-rounded learning environment. My goal is to provide the leadership that will facilitate an environment to inspire a passion for life-long learning. As a community and family, the administration, staff, students, and parents work hard to establish the unique learning atmosphere that you will only find at Charlotte Prep.  I began my career at Charlotte Prep in 1998, shortly after the school was established. At that time, I assisted the teacher and learned the philosophy of Montessori education. This experience altered my career path. I completed my bachelor’s in elementary education and followed that with a certification in Montessori for ages 6-9. I taught in a Montessori classroom for 8 years before transitioning into administration. I have recently completed my master’s degree in Non-profit Business Administration. I enjoy each and every day at Charlotte Prep. The students, staff, and families make Charlotte Prep a fun, exciting, and welcoming place to be!
