2018 Gazette issue 1

13 Montessori student have been working with the drums making beats and rhythms! They made their own rhythms and played them together in class. Montessori students al so pract iced songs for our day of peace program. 4th and 5th grade students have been working on the treble clef. They learned "twinkle twinkle little star" and other fun songs with the boom whacking sticks. 6th and 7th grade have been going through music history. They have been looking at 1900s decades in groups teaching us about the styles of music and musicians during those time periods.
