11 In 6th grade earth science, the stream table affords many learning opportunities such as studying the flow rate at various stream table heights. I recently purchased a mop for this activity! For life science in 7th grade, the students are planting radishes to determine how water affects germination. The 8th grade physical science students are learning the finer points of electronic data collection using the car and ramp to determine how slope affects speed.
