14 This is our second year taking the ACT Aspire. Research shows that the earlier we measure progress toward meeting educational standards, the more we can sculpt a student’s skills to stay on target to succeed, and, ultimately, be ready for college and work after high school. That is why we chose ACT Aspire as our yearly assessment. We are pleased to report that our students surpassed all national standards in all grade levels. Statistically, schools begin strong in the early years; however, skills tend decline during the middle school years. Fortunately, Charlotte Prep is just the opposite. We show a progression of improvement each year. Meaning, our students score higher with each grade level and our middle school demonstrates our highest scores. It is our unique teaching approach, bridging Montessori to Delta, that makes our students successful. The chart below shows how our middle school students performed in Math, Reading and English. Thirty-three middle school students were tested. The chart shows how many students received the score of exceeding/ready, close or needs support Congratulations to our students on their bright future !
